Reiterating my previous advice, a 2h cruise down Milford Sound might sound like a lot of time, but it slips by very quickly. And while the storm that had arrived the previous day seemed like it would lessen the experience, that’s exactly the opposite to the reality.

Milford Sound’s shear walls of hard rock give rise to waterfalls everywhere, but the majority are only temporary. Once rainfall stops, 90% of waterfalls disappear within 2h.
