Torre Velasca.

After you’ve looked over the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II from the roof of the Duomo di Milano, turn around and look at the view behind you. Milan presents for your viewing pleasure the butt-ugly Torre Velasca.

Despite the impression you may have, the mushroom head is intentional – a nod towards the medieval castle style of being top heavy. There appears to be some functional benefits to it. Still a monstrosity though.
