2017 Franklin Rd Christmas Lights.

As if it were scheduled, Christmas has rolled around once more and that means another opportunity to loiter on Franklin Rd. I’ve photographed and written about the annual Christmas lights several times before. I’ve been meaning to shoot more video for some time now, so, this year’s visit to Franklin Rd is a series of moving images captured over the two nights leading up to Christmas Day.

The first night was miserable with rain, wind, and unseasonally cold weather (down jackets are not normal attire for December) but Christmas Eve made for a more fitting outing. This years highlight; the very talented group of four young gentlemen playing near the top of Franklin Rd, at the same house that was serving candy floss. Their tunes on the bagpipes (just one set of instruments they played) is what you’re listening to in the video.
